Meet Wayne

Wayne's has the career experiences in government, law and business to preserve the best of Rancho Mirage while improving our City Council.  His lifetime passion for public service and Rancho Mirage include donating his first year council salary to local charities. Wayne began his career as a top aide/Chief of Staff to two Los Angeles City Councilmembers: Zev Yaroslavsky and Bob Ronka. He served as a close friend and trusted advisor to Zev throughout during his legendary career; while he and Bob drafted a City Charter Amendment where the city would host the 1984 Olympic Games at a minimal cost to taxpayers. Wayne served on two government commissions for a total of nearly twenty years and was an officer for two regional businesses, one public and one private. He has been an attorney for thirty-plus years and is an Amazon bestselling novelist. He and his wife, Ann, proudly reside in The Springs. Wayne has two sons and daughters-in-law, Grant and Yani, Bret and Shia, and two granddaughters, two-year-old Zayda and baby Gemma, born in April of this year.
